Nothing, No Nothing

For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!
Romans 8:38‭-‬39 HCSB

This is a powerful statement! Nothing can separate us from God's love. We have all had people let us down, walk away, turn their backs on us but our God promises to never leave or forsake us. This is an awesome promise when we consider how we have behave towards Him.

God's love is not dependant on actions or merit. There is nothing we can do to make ourselves good enough. His love is dependant on Himself and His choice.

We make our love dependant on the behaviour of others. If you behave well I will love you; if you behave badly I will withdraw. Unless we have God's love throbbing through our veins we will turn love off. There are many things fighting against us to turn our love off.
