Restoring Wrongdoers

Brothers, if someone is caught in any wrongdoing, you who are spiritual should restore such a person with a gentle spirit, watching out for yourselves so you also won’t be tempted. Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:1‭-‬2 HCSB

How do we restore such a person? Leave it to the counsellors? Leave it to the pastors? Talk about them? No???? You mean me? Me talk to them? Yes you! No gossip!

The above is our tendency isn't it? Yet if we live at this level of gutter snipping how low have we come. By choosing to gossip we are making ourselves lazy because the opposite is confront the problem, in all gentleness.

What is the Law of Christ? That you love one another as Christ has loved you. This takes maturity. Are you up for it?

As we humble ourselves to help that brother or sister we are in fact watching out for ourselves and in this cutting off the enemy's path to our door. Humility creates a crater between the tempter amd ourselves. A good move! Amen!
