A New Thing

Look, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19 HCSB

In this chapter God is lamenting the hardness of heart of His people but in the verse before the above He is saying: forget the past and let's move on.

As someone who has seen moves of God and is now looking at a dry and dusty land, a new thing would be good. We are desperate for our God. We need to see Him in our land.

Yet, as a Christian who has experienced God in the past, I cannot look to those moves and insist the move of God that is coming be the same. Our God delights in surprises amd new things so we must let Him loose and rejoice in what He does.

Currently our church is in a time of prayer and fasting and we are seeking God. Yesterday we had the most people ever to our early morning prayer meeting. It was good.

As we seek our God we will see a new thing. Amen!
