But With God...

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26 HCSB

The above comment by Jesus comes after He had told the disciples how difficult it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. In fact Jesus had said it would be easier for a camel to go through 'the eye of the needle' (a particular gate that was very small and for a camel to get through everything had to be taken off the camel and it had to squeeze through).

This comment was the same given to Abraham regarding having a child in old age. It came to pass. In fact, if anything, we can be encouraged by him, as he is the father of faith.

When Jesus spoke the above words the disciples asked:" well what about us?" They had left family businesses and various work to follow Him. Jesus tells them that they would be judging the 12 tribes of Israel in glory. Not a bad reward.

So...are you looking at an impossible situation? Are you seeking God for His intervention? Although the doctors say: "There is no cure," or the banks say: "no money for you to buy a house," or your estranged spouse says: "I'll never return," God delights in all of these. Bring them to Him.

Prayer: Lord ai bring to you all my impossible circumstances and ask You to take them and cause them to be changed in an instance. Amen
