There is nothing that can remove us from God's love. We might look at our track record and hit the gong button but God's love continues.
Jesus told His disciples a story about a young man doing just this in the Prodigal Son. This son went to his father and asked for his inheritance and went away and squandered it all. He did not come to his senses for a long time and when he did he realised his father's servants were being paid better than him, as after wasting his inheritance he had a job feeding pigs.
His father was waiting for him to come home. When he did come he was not berated but welcome and his father threw a party.
Nothing, nothing you have done is greater than God's love! Come on home!
