Great Am I?

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven? ” “I assure you,” He said, “unless you are converted and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child — this one is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one child like this in My name welcomes Me. “But whoever causes the downfall of one of these little ones who believe in Me — it would be better for him if a heavy millstone were hung around his neck and he were drowned in the depths of the sea! Matthew 18:1‭, ‬3‭-‬6 HCSB

We all have ideas on who looks great. These people usually stir our emotions, be it sport, music or acting, these are usually the top three. Yet none of them are little children.

Isn't it amazing that Jesus has appreciation for little children and their innocent faith. He beckons us to have such faith and to honour and care for the little ones.

Little children have a lot of questions and are not afraid to ask, "But why?" They also love freely.

We are called to have such simple faith. Let's uncomplicated things. Amen!
