The one who pursues righteousness and faithful love will find life, righteousness, and honor. Proverbs 21:21 HCSB
What do you seek today? Ease? A rest after a hard week? Or are you working today, endeavouring to find that breakthrough into riches?
In the proverb above we see a different pursuit: righteousness and faithful love. These I find in Christ and as today is Sunday I will pursue Him more earnestly.
What we seek we find. Jesus told a parable about a man who found a precious pearl and went and sold all that he had and bought that pearl. He likened the kingdom of God to that pearl.
He also told us to seek first His kingdom and all else would be added to us.
Note the person who seeks righteousness, in Christ, along with faithful love will find life, righteousness and honour. An abundance is found in Christ. Amen!
