Have you ever had to run or chosen to run? The next day you are sore in your muscles and joints. After running for some time you are breathless and need to stop unless you have trained and regularly run marathons.
As a Christian, our walk is likened to a race by the author of Hebrews. In chapter 11 he talks of us being surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, cheering us on.
Not only do we have the Holy Spirit who strengthens us, but we also have those who have gone before us cheering us on.
We are not alone in this walk of ours, we have good company, one of whom strengthens us from within. Thank You Lord! Amen!
