What does a loyal spirit look like? Not subject to drama, emotional thinking, not subject to offence, bitterness or angry outbursts. Loyal is as loyal does.
A loyal friend is a good, reliable friend. No matter what you can trust them to keep you in their heart. Our God is like this towards us. Can we be like that to Him?
David knew he had failed at being God's friend when he followed his lust for another man's wife. That lust caused him to kill and commit adultery without noticing he had lost friendship with God.
Let us never notice we are not close to God! Stay aware! Amen!
