Walking in the Light

For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God.”
John 3:20‭-‬21 HCSB

I am sure there is not much awareness of 'coming into the light' with mankind that does not know the Lord. There would not be an inclination, however unless that person had a depth of insight and understanding, this would not be the case. If they do know then they would also know they are in danger.

For the Christian, an awareness of the light and a conviction of sin would be more acute. If we, the Christians want to do something but don't feel we can tell anyone or talk about it, this is usually a sign it is not a walk in the light but rather the dark side. If we be honest we can admit we are being deceived, at that point.

Are our deeds accomplished by God? Then we will want to come into the light regarding our actions. I am not talking about someone who is say: a navy seal or a secret operative in their working life. I am talking about our personal life. Do we honour God in all we do or are we compromising? Are we somewhere we should not be in private? Are we allowing our eyes to see what they are not meant to see?

We have an enemy who is prowling around looking for someone to devour. You are presenting yourselves to him as food if you are not walking in the light.
