All of Him

For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross — whether things on earth or things in heaven.

If we want to know God, read the gospels and see Jesus. All of God was in Jesus.

In our current fight against a move away from our Christian heritage we see a rejection of religion but not of Christ. Christ is packaged with the deal because He is supposed to be what Christianity is about. If main stream media want to present the church, they go to big old buildings and shun the lively Pentecostal churches. I love the big old churches, but if they are hurting people then they fail.

Even in Pentecost religious, bullying people can reside and this trashes the truth of the above scripture. All of God was in Christ! What a claim! What a reality! Jesus was whole and real. He raised the dead, healed the sick and forgave the sinner. Perhaps the world wants more of Christ and His healing and less of religion? After all Jesus had His biggest fights with the establishment.

I came to Christ in the 'flower power generation. This period of time was an anti-establishment period of time. The current rebellion against the foundations of marriage, the murder of babies and older people are being again rammed home. My prayer is that it brings many to truth and to Christ. Amen!
