For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and by craving it, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.
1 Timothy 6:7-10
The chasing of riches and prosperity undo us. Jesus told us to seek first the kingdom. This is a good place to stay. If my mind is on Him then I am anchored in a safe, peaceful plan.
Trying to be successful wears one out. Rather focussing on serving and loving people will bring the success you were meant for. If great wealth then so be it but if enough ( food and clothing and a roof over your head) be happy!
When we focus on money Mammon moves into the field and He is very good at wearing us out amd tying us in knots. Stay in the vine and left God be Lord of your destiny. Amen!
