Clean Within

Surely You desire integrity in the inner self, and You teach me wisdom deep within. God, create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Jesus told His disciples: "You must be holy as your heavenly Father is holy." Matthew 5:48

Jesus learned obedience through what He suffered. Hebrews 5:8. Jesus Himself had to learn to follow truth, to seek God's will above His own. He said, whilst in the garden before he was to be betrayed: " Father, if it is at all possible, let this cup pass from Me, but not My will but your will be done." LUKE 22:42.

David knew that only God could forgive him and cleanse him. No one can forgive like God can. Feeling soooo clean within and knowing you are right with God, now, that is something!
