He Made a Way

And He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the One who died for them and was raised. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.
2 Corinthians 5:15‭,17

We have a reason to not live for ourselves, His supreme sacrifice of His own life. He gave it all for us so that those of us who choose to follow Him will live for Him and through Him. His sacrifice provides us with all the power to live successfully for Him.

Flesh and Spirit war with one another. I saw this so plainly in the series The Crown. Royalty required the Royal family to not live for themselves but for the crown, and ultimately for the Lord. We saw played out the battle to give into the flesh, which they called individualism. When a person says 'Lord I want You in my life' they are brought into royalty and
start royal training school. Prince Phillip was determined that Prince Charles went to a school he had attended, to help him with his manhood. His wife did not share this desire but rathered Eaton, however in this she yielded to her husband.

In the series we saw the disasters that followed fleshly decisions. This is the same for the Christian. Paul tells us in Galatians 5 'if we walk in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.' The lusts of The flesh will destroy us and their end is Spiritual death.

Jesus is Lord of Lords and King of Kings. He rules supreme yet He chose to come to earth as a human, live amd die so that we too could rule amd reign with Him. Amen!
