What is there that seems difficult for you? Mending of relationships? Finances? Health? In the passage above God was speaking to His man Jeremiah. All seemed hopeless: the people had turned from God; the king was against Jeremiah; Jeremiah was in prison; the enemy was at the gates. What could go right?
As the Lord turned up for Jeremiah God continues to turn up for those who cling to Him in faith. He does not fail, it is us who give up and yield to hopelessness. Let's determine to find what God has in store beyond the grave, the wall, the fire!
