Leaders

Not many should become teachers, my brothers, knowing that we will receive a stricter judgment, for we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a mature man who is also able to control his whole body.

Should we include politicians in this? We seem to expect the same level of integrity from them. However, many do not know Christ and although they strut and spruike about their achievements, behind closed doors they can be morally corrupt.

We have our current governing body being dragged through the mud, again, because of bad behaviour of their members. Whilst the media are also mutilating the church they are not slacking on the politicians.

Even if our leaders fail we must stay true to the one who has called us! As ultimately it is before Him we stand. Amen!
