Yahweh, if You considered sins, Lord, who could stand? But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be revered.
Psalms 130:3,4
This Psalmist knew something, He knew forgiveness. Knowing that the God of the Old Testament was a God of forgiveness requires a revelation. People in the Old Testament knew law and performance, not grace, unless they were David. David knew God's grace.
For us in the New Testament we know about grace, but struggle unless we too have a revelation of God's forgiveness. Walking in His forgiveness is heaven on earth. It is worth seeking Him for that revelation or we may continually struggle with a load that is not ours to carry, unaware there is grace that lifts us up and strengthens us anew.
Seek Him and you will find Him! Amen!
