No lying

Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator.

Lying is a fleshly habit and needs to go. Why do we lie? Sometimes fear of man; fear of looking bad; fear of failure. All of these are rooted in a poor self-image and a desperate need to appear better than we are. Try honesty! You'd be surprised how people respond.

As we are renewed in our thinking and see ourselves as we really are then we are not compelled to falsify but rather can live in truth.

Get to know who you are, as God says you are and live out of that! Amen!
