The Outcome

The fear of man is a snare, but the one who trusts in the Lord is protected.

Fear of man we must fight against, fear of God we must fight for. After all what can man do to you? Man can hurt, hurt greatly, but they cannot take eternity from you.

Jesus told a parable about a begger called Lazarus. Lazarus lived outside a rich mans gate. The rich man saw him daily as he went in amd out. Perhaps Lazarus thought living at a rich mans gate would be a good place, he was wrong. The rich man didn't even think to give Larazus the scraps from his table, but rather he gave them to his animals. Both men died. The rich man went to hell and was consumed in fire; Lazarus went to heaven and was comforted by Abraham. The rich man begged Abraham to allow Lazarus to dip his finger in water and cool his tongue but Abraham told him that was impossible. He reminded the rich man of the choices he made while on earth. The rich man then begged Abraham to send Lazarus to his brothers to warn them. Again Abraham said "No! They have the scriptures to warn them!"

There is a day of ultimate justice and God will deliver that justice. Eternity is His and we will either live with Him or in the fires of hell. We need to walk with our eyes on God and not man. Amen!
