When My Flesh Fails

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, my portion forever.
Psalms 73:26 HCSB

Today my flesh failed. I developed a massive migraine. I am not a headache person and this was nasty, it made me quite ill. I messaged my connect group leader asking for prayer and went to sleep. After several hours I awoke much better.

Praise God we have people we can connect with and who will pray for us. This brings comfort as does knowing we have the Holy Spirit to rely on.

I am at a place where more of me and my life has made God my portion. It is good how God slowly tightens the screw. I am grateful that He is merciful and allows us to learn to trust. Praise Him! Amen!
