Relax in Him

Am I now trying to win the favor and approval of men, or of God? Or am I seeking to please someone? If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ.

Really, what does a child of God want to curry favour with man for? Is it for promotion, favour, the hand of a woman or man? Know that noone is able to be totally faithful to you and you striving to earn their favour will not work, all you do is make yourself a doormat and they will wipe their feet on you.

We dont have to crawl to our God either. He has lifted you up and called you son, daughter, friend. You are lifted up because of His Son. You do not need to strive. Relax in Him! Amen!
