World's Light

Jesus once again addressed them: “I am the world’s Light. No one who follows me stumbles around in the darkness. I provide plenty of light to live in.”
John 8:12 MSG

Other versions of the verse go on to say that those who believe in Him will be a light. Jesus told his disciples:
“You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a basket, but rather on a lampstand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

In days gone by, back in the 70s we sang a chorus that said: this little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine, this little light of mine I'm gonna let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.

Jesus taught that if the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness.matthew 6:22. How does this happen? Jesus went on to say: “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. So if the light within you is darkness — how deep is that darkness! Matthew 6:22‭-‬23

How do we keep our eye good? We keep our eye good by what we read and watch on social media and TV. Garbage in, garbage out!
