Sowing and Reaping

Give, and it will be given to you; a good measure — pressed down, shaken together, and running over — will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

This whole chapter is worth reading. We are to be merciful as our heavenly father is merciful. As we learn from our Father we learn to give grace and mercy.

As we give we will receive. If we give good things, good things will return to us pressed down, shaken together and running over into our laps. If we give bad judgemental things and lack grace, this will also be measured back to us. As we sow we reap.

I live in a farming community. If the farmers want a harvest of wheat, they sow wheat. We must be the same. If we want a harvest of financial blessing, sow it. If we wants grace, sow it. If we want anything at all, sow it. Amen.

Remember as you do to others it will be done to you.

Prayer: Father have mercy and forgive me my stinginess towards others. Forgive my sins as I forgive the sins of others. Amen
