What is Heard

So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.
Romans 10:17 HCSB

Only certain words carry life. Scripture carries life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. John 14:6. If there is any debate check out what Jesus said. We cannot create our own versions of way, truth and life and expect the same result.

We must share the gospel to see lives changed. Only the gospel can change people. First demonstrate a life that has all three and be ready to give a good report when asked. When asked share the truth of the gospel. How did it change your life?

We cannot share what we ourselves do not read. We need to be bible reading believers or the storms of life will destroy us. Build your house upon the rock. Jesus said:

“Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them will be like a sensible man who built his house on the rock. The rain fell, the rivers rose, and the winds blew and pounded that house. Yet it didn’t collapse, because its foundation was on the rock". Matt 7:24,25

We must give people a chance to hear the gospel. Amen
