Finally.....

Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil. For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.

At present we are facing two elections: state and federal. The political machines are in full force and it is full of character assassinations. The policies of both parties are laid bare and dissected.

In this time it is easy to believe that wickedness is rampant amd we are lost. Yes we are in a battle but our God is mighty and He has called us to be mighty also, tearing down strongholds about our own lives and being a force for change in our countries.

Too many sit and complain amd cry: "Woe to me!" (I had to say it that way!) It is woe to me if I dont stand and fight. Life is more than 'poor me!' We are meant to be lights in the darkness. We are meant to stand for something and not fall for everything!

At present many are praying and fasting for change. At my church, every morning we gather at 6:30am and pray. We have a pole in the foyer where notes asking for prayer are stuck. Each person takes some and gets to prayer. We are to pray for each other. This is our duty!
