We like to create what we please. Yet, to have God say He created us as He did what He pleased offends us. Why?
Perhaps it is because we want the God role and are not willing to yield it to the actual One who claims to be Lord over all. Unfortunately for us, He did create the whole world and the whole universe and we are a part of this. He also gave us His Son to be the perfect sacrifice so we could be reunited.
Where does our ego come up with a God complex to defy such a God? We must come to terms with truth ultimately. If we refuse in this life we will face it in death and then realise the very One we rejected was the most attractive One after all. What a loss!
