Have you ever thought of peace as a guard? We usually associate it with a feeling and an absence of fear. The reason we have an absence of fear is the guard is on duty.
Jesus told His disciples that He would send the Comforter. One of the roles of the comforters was to bring peace. This peace makes no sense as we can be in the midst of turmoil and be at peace. This is how good the Holy Spirit is.
This Holy Spirit, sent by Jesus takes all that belongs to Jesus and reveals it to us. He is our guide in the storms of life. We can trust Him. Amen!
