The Power of the Word

All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16‭-‬17 HCSB

In John 1 we learn: in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and was God. That Jesus was the word made flesh.

All scripture points to Jesus and Jesus said: he who has seen me has seen the Father. So..in seeing Jesus we see the Father and understand His word.

Jesus rebuked wrong thinking and the greatest proponents of this wrong thinking were the Pharisees. Jesus showed a God who reached out to sinners, healed the sick and restored to wholeness. He taught a liberty not heard before. He taught kingdom principles.

Today Jesus is challenging wrong thinking still. We cannot bend truth to suit our fleshly desires. God's word is truth and a firm foundation on which to build our lives. Amen!
