“So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
Hebrews 4:16 NLT
Boldness is not my problem when faith is in action, however, if I have been listening to condemnation I struggle. This is the very time I must rouse myself to come anyway. Boldnesss is present when we realise we are children of God, a loving Father who never turns us away. His goodness and love are beyond our comprehension. As children of God we are loved dearly.
When we need it most is when we must come, condemnation tries to turn us away. When we struggle we need to remember the scripture that tells us ‘nothing can separate us from the love of God’. (Romans 8:31) we need to keep reading past this verse to know what Paul considered nothing.
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39 NLT
No nothing! Nothing can separate us from His love! Amen!
