Wealth and .....

Better a little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure with turmoil.

The house of the righteous has great wealth, but trouble accompanies the income of the wicked.

Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened ox with hatred.

These verses seem at odds with one another. Yet wealth with God at the centre and given by Him is fine. The key is having God at the centre.

In every movie about English life the rich are betrayed as nasty, hateful people. Who would want to be them. Now I am sure they are not all alike but I know I would rather be in the Lord's courts than anywhere else. Amen!
