Who is First

“Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.

We could replace Israel with our own name. Moses here is giving the Israelites instruction before they go across the Jordan into the promised land.

When we ask Christ into our lives our best lives happen as we put God first in all things. If we submit all our opinions to Him and allow Him to be Lord- we win! He is a good Lord! Amen!

Loving God with all my heart, soul and strength will take a lot of time and energy, no time for offence, anger or opinions about others. To have 'loving God' as an occupation can be the best I can give Him and others. Amen!
