His Eye is On Me

Now the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him — those who depend on His faithful love to deliver them from death and to keep them alive in famine.
Psalms 33:18‭-‬19 HCSB

When I dare to step out in God to reach the lost famine and turmoil comes. Yet I am reminded of how God kept His prophets and those who trusted in Him, in the Psalm above, the author who may well have been David. He knew what it was like to be without but trusted in God.

The key thing is to not go to self-pity, blame, mourning or anything emotional, but to walk with eyes fixed, through the furnace and come out the other side without smoke on your clothes. (This is a favourite saying of my pastor Darren Bonnell).

As we allow God to be good and use us to touch lives we live in joy. Joy unspeakable!

The main thing is souls. However, keeping our eyes on the Lord keeps us pure in intent and not side tracked with their issues. Stay focussed.
