Obedience in fire

When Joseph got up from sleeping, he did as the Lord’s angel had commanded him. He married her.

Aren't we grateful for Joseph's obedience? You might say: " But anyone would!" No! They would not! Fear of man, fear of the future, the ridicule would make many turn away.

Obedience in fire is precious. It is easier to obey when all things are good, not so easy when things are bad or challenging.

However, just as I am grateful for Joseph's obedience others now will be grateful for our obedience. Amen!
