He Was and is the Rock

Now I want you to know, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, all passed through the sea, and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from a spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock was Christ.
1 Corinthians 10:1‭-‬2‭

What I love about the above passage is Paul's connection of Jesus to the Old Testament. Already He was there in essence, if they had only known, the more they needed was there in the natural provisions that symbolised Him.

Now, let's consider us: Christ is there, hidden in the natural provisions that speak to a greater presence, our spiritual fulfillment in Him.

So often the natural circumstances harass us mentally and in our emotional turmoil we cannot see Him. He is There! Slow down the business, breathe Him in and trust. His peace is there for the taking. Amen!
