Holy Fear
Therefore, because we know the fear of the Lord, we seek to persuade people.2 Corinthians 5:11a
It is amazing what fear of the Lord does in a believer! Paul says that because he fears the Lord, He seeks to persuade people about God. Why else would he have suffered as he did?
What does fear of the Lord look like? I'd say it looks like reverent respect. Probably something that is lost on modern man. May holy fear take hold of us! Amen!
