But He was pierced because of our transgressions, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on Him, and we are healed by His wounds.

Today I want to consider:' punishment for our peace was upon Him." He who knew no sin was being punished for us who knew no peace. Jesus was the man of Peace, but so that we could know peace, Jesus suffered. What love is this?
Today if you struggle to find peace, if your nights are filled with troubles and sleeplessness, then turn to Him, ask Him for His peace.
Jesus fought for us so that we might know what He knew. He knew the Father, He knew victory over sin, He knew victory over sickness, He knew victory over rejection. He faced it all and won. Today He is our victor, today He is our saviour, today He is our peace. Amen!
