Children of the Light

For you are all sons of light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or the darkness. So then, we must not sleep, like the rest, but we must stay awake and be serious.

I remember a very old song about being children of the light: 'we need not always stumble in an ever darkened way, though the darkenss may close in around and trouble everywhere....'

Although trouble is all around us we can love in the Light, Jesus is the Light. We can live in Him. We need to choose to live in Him and His word and not be troubled by the happenings all around us. Trouble is aplenty but we can be protected, if we choose to stay close to Him. Amen!

We need not submit to the mind numbing demands and attitudes of the world. He is good and His ways are best. Try it! It works! Amen!
