The Message

But the angel told the women, “Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here! For He has been resurrected, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead. In fact, He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there.’ Listen, I have told you.”
Matthew 28:5‭-‬7 HCSB

The Angel who rolled away the tombstone had a message:
Don't be afraid
Jesus was raised from the dead and no longer in the tomb
Go tells the disciples the good news
They will see Him in Galilee.

This was all unbelievable good news. Jesus was not the captive of death, He had gone to preach to those who had died before and would see them all again soon. Good news!

The Message of Easter is not just a day off, loads of chocolate and self- indulgence. The real gift of Easter is freedom from eternal death. We have a future and a hope. Amen!

I have a friend who recently buried her dad. There is no good news about him coming back to life. However there is good news about his eternal life. He was a believer.

I have a client who's daughter is facing death. Good news for Him would be her healing and deliverance from death.

The good news for us we are free from our sins. Eternity is ours. Amen!
