Positioned to Hear

I sought the Lord , and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to Him are radiant with joy; their faces will never be ashamed.
Psalms 34:4‭-‬5 HCSB

The Lord answers, we must be listening. Pain can take away our focus but it does not mean God is gone or not talking. He listens, comforts and is near.

David was able to say: 'God delivered me from my fear,' because he knew God listened and He trusted him to come through.

David them goes on to say: ' those who look to Him are radiant with joy.'

Knowing God's presence, that He hears is comforting and brings joy. However we need to position our hearts to receive and remove self-pity from our lives. Self-pity interferes with truth. Amen!
