Getting Wisdom

Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. An indecisive man is unstable in all his ways.

God is willing to impart wisdom. If we doubt we do not know Him well and this is where we should start, getting to know Him. Read again the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. Look for the Father's attitude and nature.

The book of Proverbs gives one chapter a day and has 31 chapters. When I was young I read this book often. It taught me wisdom.

Hanging around the right people helps as well. You need those who pull you up and challenge you to be better not those who lay traps for you to fall into. A good friend wants your best, a bad friend is caught in a mess amd wants company there.
Wisdom is very important as the opposite is foolishness.

Prayer: Father I need wisdom and I ask for Your gift. I praise You that You are wise and thank You that You are my Father. Amen!
