Let God Work His Will in You

So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet.

He who began a good work in you is certain to complete it. However, you can fight it or yield to it. If you fight it you will be unhappy and if you yield you will be at peace, eventually. I say eventually because if fear is the problem you first have to overcome that in the process of yielding, and we know what a demon fear is.

If we yield, we yield completely. No pity parties and dallying with sinful pastimes. If you are in, be all in. Remember God hated the pretence. Jesus said he hates the lukewarm and that he would spit those out of his mouth. Strong words to explain why lukewarm is no good.
