Seek the Lord

Seek the Lord while He may be found; call to Him while He is near. Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the Lord , so He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will freely forgive.

I was saved in 1973. It was a time when we sang scripture in song. This scripture was one such song. During this time there was the 'flower power' revolution. It was a time of wickedness in the name of freedom but it was also a time of the outpouring of the Spirit. Right now we are seeing wickedness increase, attempting to mask the fact that there is a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Now, more than any time, souls are coming to Christ in droves.

We sought the Lord and were found by Him. Many of my friends who came to Christ at the same time are still following Him. Many are pastors. We forsook our evil ways and turned to Him.

In this time of this outpouring let us seek Him for the lost and see them come in to Him. May His kingdom come, His will be done. Amen!
