Time to Seek

Seek God while he’s here to be found, pray to him while he’s close at hand. Let the wicked abandon their way of life and the evil their way of thinking. Let them come back to God , who is merciful, come back to our God, who is lavish with forgiveness.
Isaiah 55:6‭-‬7 MSG

Opportunities come amd go. There are times when I sense intense favour. During these times I cannot go wrong. There are other times of dryness. I imagine that finding God is the same.

Running from God leads us into a wilderness where self-effort is fraught with frustrations and lack of fulfillment. However, the wilderness brings us back to the door. Again Jesus will knock. What will we do?

Continually refusal leads to longer wildernesses where the enemy lurks seeking to devour. Suicide is man saying: "Enough! On my terms this ends!" Yet it does not end well and the door to eternity now opens. What will eternity be like for those who refuse Christ? The demons of hell will have a new plaything.

Now is the time to seek God. He is not a harsh God of law and regulations but rather a God of love and compassion. Try Him and see!

Prayer: Jesus forgive me for running away. Please come in and wash me clean. Make me yours Amen!
