Kingdom come! Will be done!

“For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ We often see young men declaring their love in the most marvellous ways. Jesus, as a young man, declared His love for us in the most brutal ways; He was nailed to a cross. In this love act He purchased us back from Satan, the Prince of darkness, who had deceived our forefathers into trading the immortal life that was ours for the mortal and death. As we see foolish men and women celebrate darkness in the Halloween festivals, they are reaffirming their captivity. There is so much more going on right now. The powers of darkness are gathering for a final battle, foolishly believing they will  win. The bible tells them they lose. Nonetheless, we must be vigilant and in prayer.  May Your kingdom come Lord! May Your will be done! Amen!

salvation

“For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Believing that a Jesus is the way to God, and the willingness to confess this as truth alone is our price of salvation. He paid the full dowry, and the continual price. No amount of self-righteousness earns me eternal life, but faith in Him alone. I show this faith by the confession of my mouth. Many so called righteous men and women believed in Jesus, but for fear of the Pharisees did not openly confess it. Their fear caused them to hide. Jesus said,  ““Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭10‬:‭32‬-‭33‬ ‭NLT‬‬ This scripture tells us that confession is a part of salvation. These people were afraid not of death but of beling cast out of the synagogue. What is t...

No one can measure

“Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭28‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Today my Nepali friend and I went shopping for furniture for our new flat. The furniture is made from Mango trees, which is popular here and beautiful. I have money from the sale of my car. I had thought of keeping it just in case I have to travel home. However, I am faced with providing a good home for two women who have lived at almost below the Australian level of poverty and trusted God to provide and He has. They have been living in one room. This room has been their bedroom, kitchen and lounge room. Fortunately they have a bathroom outside of their room so not as bad as sleeping in a car, I admit. They have prayed for two years for someone who would work with them and that they would have a good home. I have prayed for two years for women to share a home with. ...

Almighty God

“Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭28‬ ‭NLT‬‬ We cannot use our finite minds to judge or comprehend the Lord. He is the creator of all things. This verse is taken from a mangnificent chapter that speaks of God’s greatness, and filled with promise fro those who trust in their God. As we view the beauty of our created world and the universe that surrounds us we must wonder and be in awe. The fine delicate creatures herein were designed by a magnificent mind. They did not happen by chance. We are His masterpiece. In verse 13 we read:  “Who is able to advise the Spirit of the Lord? Who knows enough to give him advice or teach him?” Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬. In our arrogance are we able to stand before Him? Further on:  ““To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One.” Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭25‬ ‭N...

Holiness

“Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. Who is the King of glory? The Lord of Heaven’s Armies— he is the King of glory. Interlude” Psalms‬ ‭24‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ David wrote this psalm. It is supposed that the psalm was written when David brought the Ark of the Lord to the city of David. David had already been made aware of God’s holiness when he attempted to bring the Ark on a cart, a man died. Searching the scriptures showed him that it must be brought up on the shoulders of the priests. The scriptures reinstated the holines of God and how to handle that holiness. This psalm shows an awareness of God’s holiness. The whole psalm is saturated with respect and honour for the presence of God. Our world needs a dose of respect, especially the church and God’s people. God is not there ...

Deliverance

“But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The evil one has plans to deceive, kill and destroy. As a child of God we have the power to overcome the evil one. We have the Holy Spirit in residence and He boldness plus. As we allow Him to reign we win the battles sent to destroy us. Refuse to shop at his stores where he parades defect, sickness and death. Keep you mind on victory and the road ahead. Act like a warrior. We are watching young men and women in Israel prepare to fight their wicked enemy. They are bold and fearless, they are a team and they go together. Rise up saints and throw off your rags! Wash yourselves in the blood of the lamb. He is your strength, you salvation, your victory. Repent of you rubbish, laziness, and uncleaness. Live the life of pure focus and refuse to bow to self-pity. There is no room for it here! Amen!

Deliverance from evil

“But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ When Jesus taught the disciples how to pray, it incorporated: ‘deliver us from evil’. Deliverance from evil involves protection, illumination and discernment about the evil in others who we associate with both inside and outside the church. Our enemy, the devil, seeks to destroy us and will use any means at his disposal. If he can plant offence in the hearts of anyone, he will. We must be sure that we do not let offence crowd our own lives, through critical thoughts about others. He will seek to infiltrate and destroy any relationship. Diligent prayer for the significant others is important. Paul had asked for prayer for he and his colleagues that they would be delivered from the evil in others in the previous verse. He stated: ‘for not everyone is a believer’. Non-believers are also inside the church. They were in Jesus’ day. He had to contend with non-believing Pharisee...

Great expectations

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ As we watch the unfolding of the war in Israel and the outpouring of the Spirit of God in nations resulting in souls being saved we have gain a sense of hope that scripture will be fulfilled in our day. To live in a time when God is moving is so powerful! I have longed and prayed for this day. Today I went and visited the two women I have invited to share a flat with me. They are excited and concerned at the same time as they have had bad experiences, but then so have I. To know that this is the time and place for God’s outpouring is a blessing. God is at work providing for all three of us and perhaps others who will visit our home.  I wrote to my daughter and her two children, my son and his eldest updating them on my news. My grandchildren responded. What a bles...

Beyond decay

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭NLT‬‬ As a mother and grandmother I am very aware of wills. In a will we leave to our children and grandchildren our treasures. However, the greatest treasure I have is my faith in Christ. My faith purchases a divine will that is stored in heaven. I will that all my descendants may know Him as I have known Him. My earthly treasures are worthless in comparison. My heavenly glory is priceless. The beauty of heaven is treasure stored there does not rot or lose value. Earthly treasure fades, depreciates, is destroyed by fire or perils, or lost in trade. The greatest treasure is knowing Christ and the assurance that eternity with Him is s...

Teach and remind

“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.” John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I am having three Nepali lessons a week. My teacher reminds me about the material I have already learned by once again reviewing it. Then we approach new material and incorporate it into that already learned. I think the Holy Spirit does the same thing. He helps us review previous lessons by allowing us to again encounter the same set of challenges, but usually disguised in some way. When we navigate through these tests successfully we then enter new territory armed with this knowledge. If we fail the test we go back and do more revision. We do not move on until we have mastered the lesson. If you think you are going around in circles, perhaps you are and need to pay attention. My teacher encourages me even when I make mistakes because she knows I am trying to learn. Patiently she reviews the materi...

The Holy Spirit

“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.” John‬ ‭14‬:‭26‬ ‭NLT‬‬ John the Baptist testified that God had given Jesus the Spirit without measure (John 3:34), in other words He was full of the Holy Spirit. This happened at His baptism. John also testified that He saw the Spirit descend on Jesus like a dove (John 1:32). God the Father also showed up and said, “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased” (Matt 3:17). The Spirit drove Jesus into the wilderness for 40 days (Mark 1:12),  in which time He fasted, seeking God. Satan came to tempt Him and failed. Then Jesus returned and entered His ministry. In the above scripture Jesus told His disciples to wait and pray for He was sending the Holy Spirit to them. This He did on Pentecost Sunday. They went from being a fearful bunch of believers to being bold proclaimers of the Gospel. The Spirit makes us bold. ...

The day of the Lord

“Sound the trumpet in Jerusalem! Raise the alarm on my holy mountain! Let everyone tremble in fear because the day of the Lord is upon us.” Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The Day of the Lord usually referred to a day of judgement. In this instance Joel prophesies that should the people declare a fast and come to repentance, the judgement meant for Israel will come upon those the Lord used to bring about the change. Often repentance did not transpire and therefore judgement was enacted. The beautiful thing about this chapter is that the second half of the declaration speaks about the coming of Jesus. From judgement to mercy in one chapter.  When we live outside of Christ we are subject to wrath. However, as God’s people we are covered by the blood of the Lamb. The children of Israel were saved from the angel of death by the blood of the lamb on the doorposts. This was a type of the cover in Christ. We who come to Christ are likewise covered. Just as the children of Israel were protected by Go...

Sound the alarm

“Sound the trumpet in Jerusalem! Raise the alarm on my holy mountain! Let everyone tremble in fear because the day of the Lord is upon us.” ‭‭Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The first part of this chapter speaks of judgement and destruction of God’s people for their sin. Like a plague of locusts the beautiful land before it is black behind it. It calls for repentance, fasting and prayer. Those the Lord sends against Israel then will be judged and destroyed. The last part of the chapter deals with the coming of Jesus and a new day. In this day God gives a new heart of repentance, that people will have God’s laws written upon their hearts. The whole chapter needs to be read with a heart open to what God is saying. What can we learn from this? What is He saying to the believer? How can we pray? Does this chapter affect the Israel we know now? Does it affect the believers? Many believe the first part spoke of Sennacherib who came from Assyria. Is there a modern day version of him represented in the e...

Good News

“Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Today I helped my friend dig rocks and move them to build a wall. It was hard work and my body knows it. We had a late lunch break and two visitors arrived, two young friends.  Both boys are Nepali Hindus and are in the middle of the Dashain festival. One boy said the Hindu version of why he should honour his parents. I told him what the Bible says about long life being promised to those who honour parents. He looked shocked! During the day shepherds were around the house with their goats and cows on the teathers eating the bushes. They were preoccupied with watching us dig. At times I sang in the Spirit and prayed it touched them. As I don’t speak Nepali enough to talk for long I have to rely on the Holy Spirit. He knows what people need. Amen!

Every kind of disease

“Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.” Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Jesus did not think or say any disease was greater than another. They all were an invasion of Satan. Many were caused by demons, which He promptly cast out. What did He say to those who asked? He said “yes! I will!” He turned noone away. He tested some severely. If we look at the gentile woman who came for healing of her demonised daughter, He said, “it is not right to give the children’s bread to dogs”, but she replied, “yes Lord but even the little dogs can eat the crumbs that fall on the floor”(Matt 15:24-28). How many of us would turn away in offence? I hazard to guess many would. Yet, she persisted and received what she desired. He in fact admired her faith. Faith received what it came for. Yet, even those who lacked faith He aided. The father who also had a demonised son asked for he...

His Kingdom

“May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Today I had my Nepali lesson then went to my friends new house to help clean it up for occupation. My teacher is a single woman who lives in a small one bedroom unit with her sister. I invited them to join me in my new unit next month. She was delighted. I am delighted to share with two other women. When I arrived at my friends house the Himalayas turned on a spectacular view. It stayed most of the day and enthralled me. Our God created such a wonderful world for us to enjoy if we only lift up our heads and look. Take time to get outside and enjoy His creation and realise His Kingdom will be spectacular. Amen!

Kingdom come

“May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Jesus was asked to teach His disciples to pray, this is part of the prayer we know as The Lord’s Prayer: Our Father who are in heaven Holy be Your Name May Your kingdom come, Your will be done one earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread; Forgive us our sins as we forgive others their sins; And lead us not into temptation. For Yours is the Kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever. Amen! This prayer represents: reverence, request, repentance, request, and ends in reverence again. Our Heavenly Father needs to be revered by us. We tend to take Him for granted and treat Him as a provider only. Notice that reverence is the beginning and end of the prayer.  The middle is about us but starts with a request for provision, then forgiveness, dependent on us forgiving others and a request for protection from evil.  Why do we need to request protection from e...

In You

“And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.” Psalms‬ ‭39‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ This morning whilst having time with the Lord I felt my chair rock twice. I suspected an earthquake and was right, 5.2. Of late there have been three earthquakes in Nepal, this one stronger than the last two. I have made a practice of keeping all important items in my bag, which I would hope to grab on the way out. As I am situated on the third floor of a building it makes sense to leave if things became bad. Determining what is important at a moments notice is a challenge. In Australia, in bushfire season, we have to ensure we not only prepare for that eventuality, have a way of escape and know what to take, and when to leave. It would be the same wherever danger lies. However, no matter how well you plan it is God who will bring a good result. Our trust must be in Him not ourselves. Amen!

My hope

“We are merely moving shadows, and all our busy rushing ends in nothing. We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it. And so, Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭39‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I am again living in a time when the end May be soon. When I was first born again it was 1973. David Wilkenson’s teaching about the end times was fresh, and we lived knowing our time was short. Unfortunately we moved on, we  married , bought homes, had children and became emeshed in worldly life. Now we watch Israel have prophesy unravel before our eyes and we are again drawn to the end of times. Now, more than ever, wickedness is upon the earth. The West is corrupt beyond measure and daily find new filth to engage. Those who love the Lord are horrified with the rate of corruption and deception. The trumpet has sounded! Come out! We must wash our garments and be ready for our king! He is our only hope. Amen!

Follow Me

“A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.” Proverbs‬ ‭17‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Jesus said: “I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬ As a friend of Jesus we must be loyal to Him and not ourselves. He also said: “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.” Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬ ‭NLT‬‬ As friends of Christ we must identify with Him and His cause and faithfully follow. Amen!

Friends

“A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.” Proverbs‬ ‭17‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Recently I was trying to give translation work to a man in Nepal I have known for around 7 years. He stated that I was his friend. I was surprised as I had supported him financially for some time but when no longer able I had to cease. I had felt promoted by the Lord to offer him the work although it meant we also had to use a transcriber to write his translation into the Devanagari script. It was a process I was willing to wear as it would employ more people. Unfortunately my friend could not come to a meeting, and when I tried to set up a Zoom he failed to appear.  It turns out his power was off, as is often the case in Nepal. I asked why he did not answer my sms and he said he had not data. There was also a growing concern in my friend that he would not be able to use the software we were to use as he is not technical. Timothy, my colleague, and I had to make a decision and we c...

You will receive

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Today I read a post about a whole Muslim family coming to Christ, they all had the same dream. Then God sent a man, much like Ananias, to their door with a bible. He lead them all to Christ. Praise God! For those who bother to pray, well done! Keep praying, keep asking! Amen!

Keep asking

““Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I have several areas in which I am asking: victory in court over injustice; complete healing of my hearing; salvation of family; salvation of souls in Nepal and India; protect and comfort for the persecuted; Australia to see an outpouring of the Spirit; Israel to come to know Jesus; success for salvation of more souls in Africa for Christ for all Nations; protection of the unborn; success of the brave politicians who fight for truth in Australia and more. I know how to ask. This scripture tells me I will receive answers and so I will continue to ask. Faithfulness in asking is important. That is why I have a prayer list in my Bible Ap which I diligently follow each day. There was a time when I only pray...

Merciful

“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The Lord is merciful! He has endured in His love through much of the earthly wickedness we have developed and still He loves. The power of the cross is strong. No more is God saying I regret ever bringing you to life. He patiently waits for us to find His grace. He delivers us from our sin and teaches us His ways. Yes there will be a day of judgement, however, in the short time we have left we receive His grace. As we watch the world walk towards its end, we must make ourselves ready. Eternity is but a breath away. Amen!

Protection

“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ This chapter goes on to say: “If any nation comes to fight you, it is not because I sent them. Whoever attacks you will go down in defeat. “I have created the blacksmith who fans the coals beneath the forge and makes the weapons of destruction. And I have created the armies that destroy. But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬ As we watch the war in Israel we could say: these scriptures apply to them. However, this was written well before the Roman invasion and the destruction that occurred then. Matthew Henry believes it speaks about the church o...

Seek His strength

“Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.” 1 Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ We tend to rely on our own strength or the strength of others. Unfortunately, the west has come to rely too heavily on the government and complain bitterly when they fail to deliver. God’s plan was for us to depend on Him. When the children of Israel wanted a king the wise would say, “you already have a king, the Lord God almighty”! However, they persisted wanting a flesh and blood ruler even though they were warned how costly this would be. Why do we do this ? We want what we can touch and see. We do not want to trust in an invisible God. When Jesus walked the earth the push was to make Him their king. They loved His miracles. However,  the religious leaders did not like His methods. They wanted to control Him and He was not going to allow that. So, they crucified Him! Yet, He rose from the grave and will retun as king. I am sure there will be many who do not want Hkm to rule them, the...

Look to the Lord

“Search for the Lord and for his strength; continually seek him.”1  Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Yesterday I ran out of drinking water and went in search of the house manager to carry the water to my room. He was sick and in pain, I prayed for him. I also instructed him to rest as he had hurt his back again.  His little wife who is shorter than me lifted the 20l water pot and carried it up the stairs and into my room.  I was gobsmacked. She is a tough little lady. She could not lift to the collection pot but put it on the floor. I cannot lift it and so am improvising by filling a bowl at a time and pouring that into the pot. It works. When we are unable, God is able. He lifts us up, empowers us and causes us to reach targets previously out of reach. Yesterday I walked to and from the swimming pool instead of catching a taxi. I am determined to walk to church as well. I desire to do trh Everest Base camp track in March next year and so I must be fit and able to trek. Alrea...

Plenty

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I am trusting the Lord for plenty to share. Today I decided to make chock cookies in the pressure cooker. A slower process but equally efficient. I shared the first batch around to people in the place I am staying. I wanted to go out to the street and give them all away, however, I realised I did not know how to say Jesus loves you in Nepali. My teacher comes tomorrow so perhaps I will by day end tomorrow. Then I can go out. The whole city of Kathmandu is feeling like it is ready for a holiday. On Saturday Dashain begins. It is an annual festival and it lasts for two weeks. I went swimming today and asked if they were shutting and was told, “yes for one week!”  This afternoon one of my unsaved young friends has asked if I want to join he and a few friends on a trip away and where would I like to go ( considering I am ...

Blessings

“And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Today as I sweat over stretching my money to give generously and manage the remainder this promise came. I do not need to sweat. God knows even before we ask, He provides His promise ahead of time. He is in the detail. I love having plenty to share with others. This brings joy! I love how God plans for the spontaneous giving as well. I am sure He enjoys it as much as me. I will stay in joy! Amen

The highway

““You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Highways are great if they ease traffic congestion. Here in Nepal congestion happens at peak hours. Congestion is also caused by roads in disrepair, too many motorbikes, tuk tuks, trucks, cars, taxis, men on foot pushing barrows, lawnmower sized engines built like mini trucks used in construction and lastly buses. On motorbikes and scooters you will find all manner of things: large sheets of glass, wood, metal; huge parcels, too many people, dogs and babies and more. These road represent the highway to hell. Many who travel on the road to hell experience all manner of calamities, hardships wirhout a saviour to help. The road to heaven is narrow and winding. It is uphill and reminds me of the Everest Base Camp trek. Jo...

The easy road

““You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Finding the right road is the challenge. If life is easy then possibly it is the road to destruction. Finding the road to eternal life is on the narrow road.  Here in Nepal you can be almost on the entrance to a narrow street and not recognise it as a street. I use taxis a lot here and as I am plumenting forward with a sudden left turn I am left wondering where we are going. The narrow roads may also be dirt tracks through obscure areas. The entrance to my present accomodation was hard to find at first, it is hidden behind a wall and locked between that wall and another building. However, the road leads to a lush courtyard of peace and rest. Life in Christ can be difficult to find. It can be riddled with obstacles...

Targets

“It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ As we are watching the war in Gaza we are being told that Israel is targeting tunnels. Their targeting seems effective.  In the same way God is targeting His word to bring the best outcome. We can be a part of this plan by yielding ourselves to the Lord and praying He will use us for His glory. His word always produces fruit. This is good to hear as often we think we have failed or been ineffective. However, He is the master of His word and He will accomplish all He wants, we need not fear but trust Him. Amen!

Purpose

“It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The verse before this one indicate what it is referring to: ““The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.” Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭10‬ ‭NLT‬‬ In fact this chapter invites the deaf to hear what God is saying. The deaf are those who do not listen. This same chapter talks of God’s ways being higher than our ways (v 8), and offers an invitation for us to seek and find God’s ways. A promise of food that satisfies is here. Two chapters before Isaiah speaks about the Measiah Jesus suffering for the sins and sicknesses of mankind. The Messiah did come, first to make a way to the Father and be cleansed from our sin. He was the perfect sacrifice. When He returns He will come as king and will rule fo...

Glory

“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.” Psalms‬ ‭19‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The heavens proclaim God’s glory, yet, they are not glory in themselves to be worshipped. They display God’s glory. When John visited heaven he saw God’s glory and could not handle it. When God revealed Himself to Moses He covered Moses with His hand and only revealed His back, as Moses could only handle that much glory. After being 30 days in God’s presence Moses’ face glowed so much that he had to put a veil over it. The sun represents God’s glory. We are unable to look at it with our eyes or we will be blinded. Yet, God is more glorious than the sun. There are many stars larger than our sun. Yet, God is more glorious than them. Sirius is the brightest star as seen from earth, however, there are larger and brighter starts in the universe. So, compared to what we do see, God is greater. We find this hard to imagine as we have finite minds and relegate God to human frames. Jesus had a ...

Worship

“The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.” Psalms‬ ‭19‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ As an astronomer I can loudly proclaim, “yes! This is true! “ The more we are able to see with powerful telescopes, the more we know of God’s glory. I love the sunsets and sunrises also. I am fortunate to still see sunsets here in Nepal. My room faces west. In the evening I can sit at a table outside my room and watch the whole glory unfurl until dark. Back in Australia I did this from a couch positioned just right. I have friends who walk in the early mornings at home and they often post the sunrises on Facebook. I appreciate this. For me to see God’s glory is important. It draws out praise and worship from my heart. He is so good to display His beautify like this, it, for me, is a call to prayer. I don’t need any person with a microphone to remind me to pray. We are made to worship, let us worship the One who created all things, the mighty God and saviour. Amen!

Peaceful harvests

“No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Discipline trains in right living. The result is a peaceful harvest of good things for those who walk in the right way. What are we disciplined in? Attitude, behaviour, consideration for others and respect for authority. God our Father is training us to be holy, just like Him. We don’t fully understand ‘holy’ in the biblical sense. Jewish believers have more an understanding because they learn the Levitical law and what it means to live it. There are things that God considers holy: His name, marriage and sex are holy, His ways are holy, His presence is holy. When we profane His name, marriage and sex, for example we dishonour God. Scripture tells us we need to be holy because He is holy. If we want to come near to Him then we must behave in a holy manner. If we want to experience His presence w...

Discipline

“No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬ There are several verses of scripture in Chapter 12 that deals with our discipline by God. He disciples us. If Jesus was disciplined by God, how can we escape? How does God discipline us? Let us look at how God disciplined Jesus? Scripture tells us He learned obedience through what He suffered. How did He suffer? Jesus endured natural discipline from His father Joseph and mother Mary through childhood. As a man He learned to wait on God for His appointed time, and when it arrived scripture tells us, ‘He only did what He saw His Father doing.’ He spent a lot of time in prayer to the Father and was lead by the Holy Spirit in His actions. The greatest discipline He experienced was the cross. He pleaded three times to have the cup of suffering pass from Him and yet God did not change His mind. God ...

Kings will come

“All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance.” Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Truth and justice is right and filled with light. Godliness is attractive. When our actions are not driven by anger or desire for revenge, but rather mercy and righteousness, God is revealed in us and draws the hungry hearts. Today Timothy and I went and ordered an engagement cake for a young Nepali couple. It was fun. We were blessed with the shop giving us 70% discount. The shop is run by godly people. It was enjoyable looking through the photos of cakes and joking about which Timothy would have as his wedding cake. He likes cartoons. You can imagine what he chose. I responded, “your wife would smack you up the head!” He laughed. Although he is soon to be 25 he said he was too young to marry. He is happy to be a missionary-evangelist. I said, “you might miss out Tim as the Lord may be back before you are ready !” Then I realised he was not concerned. He is driven by mission. A ...

The promise

“All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see your radiance.” Isaiah‬ ‭60‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ This whole chapter is about the restoration of a Jerusalem and Israel.  When deep darkness covers the earth Jerusalem alone with be a light. Nations who provicously fought against Israel will now serve. Those who still fight against Israel wirh be destroyed. The chapter is full of promise. As we watch the current war in Israel and Palestine we can see scripture being fulfilled. Ezekiel 38 speaks of various nations fighting against Israel and losing, not because of Israel’s might but Gods. Russia and Iran are implicated in this war. Iran more definitely. I read somewhere that Russia is dragged into the war reluctantly. It is busy with war with Ukraine at present and although it has a relationship with Iran it very definitely chooses its own path. There is a lot of speculation as to what would cause Russia to move against Israel. God only knows the reasoning and timing of all t...

Caring

“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.” Mark‬ ‭8‬:‭35‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Fear  causes us to hold onto our lives, selfishness causes us to be deaf. When Jesus told parables He said it was because: in hearing the people would not hear and in seeing they would not see. Why did they not hear or see? Their hearts were not in seeking God’s kingdom.  We can read our bibles but not comprehend the scripture read, we can hear the word of God preached but not actually heart it in our hearts.  Why? We are deaf and blind. Why? Because of unbelief. Right now the west trundles on ignoring what is happening in the Middle East. Not only did Hamas attack Israel, Hesbollah is now attacking from Lebanon and Iranian backed terrorists are attacking from Syria. Yet in the US and Australia the governments are tolerating Islamic support for Palestine and vitriol against Israel. We have become weak-k...

Surrender

“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.” Mark‬ ‭8‬:‭35‬ ‭NLT‬‬ As we watch the Israeli war unfold against Hamas, we know there will be no surrender on either side. For Israel to surrender to Hamas it would mean extermination. Hamas has no plans to surrender. It has already killed hostages taken from Israel. Those hostages did not go willingly, they were abused horribly. We cannot surrender our lives to the enemy of our souls. He tempts us with riches, glory, and fame but binds us in a selfish prison that lives for lusts of the flesh. These prisons are places of death of eternity in our souls. We become carnal beasts living for gratification now. It is better to wash ourselves clean of the filth and serve the Lord in whatever capacity he wants. He is our God and our supply. Time is short. Come out of the cage and live! Amen!

Love covers

“Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Love is like a shawl, a mantilla or a blanket. It covers the one beneath it. When we allow the Holy Spirit to produce His love in us for the maddening friends and family, they sense it and open up. I have a maddening friend and God has been working on me to be able to live through the awkward and annoying times. I asked Him to show me what He is doing in my friend. I also started praying that God would use him in the places he is with non-Christian friends. Today this friend came and played cards with me. I am grateful because I am here alone. I trounced him without trying. He was able tot talk about his anxiety. I am grateful I was able to be useful. People need to be able to be honest with us. This friends anxiety causes him to complain. His complaining is not pleasant but the bigger problem, his anxiety, is worse.  I pray I can be of service to my fr...

Love deeply

“Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Loving deeply is a challenge. We are deterred by offence. We are easily offended by the behaviour of others and slights shown to us. Why is this so? We are witnessing offence daily and accept it as the norm.  We need a new focus! As we watch war erupt between Israel and Palestine the UN is very upset that Israel has declared war. Seriously! We are not there and seeing our people slaughtered and abducted. We who dwell externally cannot tell others how they must conduct themselves. We must mind our own business and pray! God is the arbiter and the caller of the outcome in this war. He is God! In fact God is the One to who we must look in all situations. Casting judgement on others is not our prerogative. We are meddling in places we do not belong. What we should be doing is praying and making room for God!

Tell

“I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.” Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ When we tell others of the way God answers our prayers and delivers us from all our troubling thoughts and behaviours, we have a testimony. People need to hear victorious testimonies. We are called to have a victorious life. A life that lives in the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the power to overcomes bad attitudes, stinking thinking, selfish behaviours. He lives inside us and is waiting to be asked for help. When we have a victorious story we bring glory to God. He needs to be glorified in our lives. Amen!

Praise

“I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.” Psalms‬ ‭9‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬ To be able to visit places where God’s love is evident is an honour. Yesterday we went back to Martha House to inspect the new washing machine we were involved in purchasing. It was a delight to sing with the ladies and pray for them. Oh! How He loves them! Oh! How He loves them! We had raised enough money for the machine, it’s plumbing and possibly a vacuum cleaner. This is a novelty for them. What joy they will experience. I can just see the giggles and pleasure they will embrace. Before leaving I prayed for a 94 year old lady who had become demented, and the gatekeeper who was keeping her entertained. A lovely, selfless, little man. Jesus is in that  place, His love for the ladies is evident. They are clean, well dressed and all wear reading glasses. Some could do with hearing aids, however, they are not diligent with batteries and the care of the aids. A l...

Respect

“Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. And live peacefully with each other.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Today I attended  Koinonia Patan church in Kathmandu. The worship was wonderful but the preacher was an Indian with a very thick accent and I did not understand much. I reminded myself to keep a sweet attitude, which I did, and God answered two of my prayers. I had asked Him for a new friend and a language teacher, I received both. The new friend is a swimming teacher at a school here in Kathmandu. She knew a language teacher and introduced me. I made an appointment for tomorrow at 1:30pm. After church we went to lunch with one of the church workers and after that visited Martha House where we had raised funds for a washing machine. We sang a song for the ladies and then prayed for each individually, ...

Recognise

“But we ask you, brothers and sisters, to recognize those who diligently labor among you and are in leadership over you in the Lord, and give you instruction, and that you regard them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another.” 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭12‬-‭13‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬ Recognise those who labour among you. These would work as pastors, connect group leaders, music team leaders, bible school teachers. If they lead you and are responsible for you then they are accountable to God for you. Don’t cause them heartache by being divisive, or troublesome. Pray for your leaders that they will do well. Support them in prayer. As you pray for them they are strengthened and guided. This prayer empowers them in the Lord. Don’t allow critical thoughts to creep in, instead pull down those thoughts, nail them to the cross and instead pray. It is easy to criticise, harder to pray. Pray then and repent of evil thoughts. Build up do not tear down. Amen!

Taking refuge

“¶Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭8‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬ Today I met with Timothy to discuss an email I received from England regarding our project. Timothy is not disuaded by much, and a delight to work with. I have supreme confidence that things will work out and so does he. However, some mutual friends are not so positive. They see the overwhelming problems. Tim and I see the potentials as greater than the problems. I believe these attributes belong to the Caleb generation. Caleb was 80 when Joshua allocate him his lands. Caleb took up his sword and went into the land and cleared it to take possession. Both Caleb and Joshua were positive about being able to take possession of the promised land wheras the other spies were negative. They focussed on the problems. Caleb and Joshua had to wait another 40 years for that generation of people to die in the wilderness. However, they did go in and take the land. I am taking posses...

Taste and see

“Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!” Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “Have a taste”, is what we say to people when we have cooked something to share. I have been making damper in a pressure cooker and taking it to people to taste  As it is not known in Nepal people are interested. However, they are not inclined to be critical, and so it is hard to discern if they like it or are being polite. With God things are different. People are quick to say what they like. Last night I had taken my damper to share with a friend who is the house maid at a guest house, when a huge Texan man came to her asking for a meal. Whilst she cooked it I talked to the man and discovered he was not a believer. I had invited him to church. I said to him, “ah! So you have not come to know Jesus yet!” He said, “I suppose you could say that!” I was hoping to say more however he took the stage and talked and talked. I prayed for the right words to speak and he did not make...

Christ’s attitude

“You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬ What attitude did Jesus have?  “Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.” Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Jesus was equal with God. He did not just think He had it or was grasping for it, ahe had it. Yet, He emptied himself of His rights, became a slave and was nailed to a cross for us. He did not have to do it. However, He knew that it was all it would take to redeem all manikind. During the days when His body was in a tomb He was preaching to all those who perished in Noah’s flood. He was giving them another opportunity to choose righteousness. Why? Because He loved them also and the flood came suddenly. What manner of man is He? He is...

Whose interest?

“Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Selfishness and judgmentalism will cause us to rise up against one another, offence gets us started. If another offends in deed or lack of, we are prone to rise up with the spirit of a snake ready to strike with the venom of Satan. The striking we do is verbal. We rip and tear each other behind backs. Who gave us rights to judge? Jesus said,  “You judge me by human standards, but I do not judge anyone.” John‬ ‭8‬:‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Here Jesus says what we do: we judge by human standards, not heavenly ones. If God is th...

All God has for me

“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” 2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ God’s divine power enables us to live a godly life. We access it by coming to know Him who called us. Faith accesses that power.  I remember the time I fell badly when my shoes laces caught the lugs on the opposite boot and I was carrying two big bags of groceries. I had only just recovered from two broken ribs. The pain I experienced was enormous. Yet, I screamed, “Jesus You have to be my healer! I am getting up and refuse to have more broken bones!” As I rose up I praised Him through the pain I felt. I was in agony but refused to yeild to the pain. I apply this form of vigorous faith to all disasters being they relational or financial. I refuse to be a victim. I refuse to sit in a heap! Therefore, I apprehend all I can in faith,  because ...

A godly life

“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” 2 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Peter tells us we have all we need in Christ to live a godly life, not a comfortable life or a prosperous life but a godly life.  What is a godly life? This is a life that displays Him. He is beautiful, holy and pure. We can be also as we draw near to Him. Jesus told us to abide in Him and with that a promise that she would abide in us.  I have a friend who is building a house in Kathmandu Nepal. It will be a lovely house overlooking beautiful fields. He is choosing to abide, make his home and settle in Nepal. Jesus invites us to abide, settle, make our home in Him, with it comes a promise, He will abide  in us. A wonderful promise. Am I willing to abide in Him?  As I learn to abide He is touching my heart and correcting a judgmen...

Good news

“And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬ A saviour that came to earth, died to save and was resurrected is not the norm in other religions. Muslims are coming to Christ, there is no harshness in this saviour. Hindus are coming to Jesus, He does not demand works to earn a place in eternity. Secular western civilisations that are disappointed in the claims that self is enough are looking for a powerful saviour. Jesus is the answer to all the emptiness. He is the rewarded of those who seek Him. More people are coming to know Him right now that ever before. We can help with the harvest, we can pray and share our faith. Put away the fleshly pursuits and become a harvester. Amen!

Go and preach

“And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”” Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬-‭18‬ ‭NLT‬‬ This is the Christian mandate. I have gone, but my preaching, so far, has been to those who need discipling, with the exception of two.I have prayed for the sick, and have not had problems with snakes yet, or demons, however, they are around. I am learning the language so that I can communicate. It is proving more challenging than first thought, however, if I remember I was learned French for three years at school and only remember a few sentences, I learned Ja...

Never ceasing faithful love

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Our God is not fickle, He does not change His loyalty to be in or to get something from someone else. His faithfulness is consistent and reliable. Today I had a friend complain about his  housemate. I could not believe what I was hearing. He was describing himself. Yet it was the other person he was pointing at. I took a step and said, “You are just the same!” I explained my comment with illustrations and finally he said, “point taken.”  We can be just like this. We see in others what we are ourselves and find it annoying.   Yet, we have a God who is none of that. He is the antithesis of our own natures. This truth must make us stop, look and listen. He wants us to hear Him and know His wholeness. Amen!

Pure each morning

“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬ God comes to me each morning revealing my heart. I can tell when worldliness taints it and repent. It is amazing the things that taint it: money, movies, worldly conversation. I sense my heart has an unclean glee, lusting for more. As I recognise this state and repent I cleanse my heart. We are told to guard our hearts, repentance is the way to keep it clean, however, being watchful can prevent it from being dirty in the first place. As God comes to me fresh each morning, He is without sin. Purity fills Him. Because purity comes to me I can recognise darkness within. I am so grateful He is the first to comes. I am grateful He is without sin. Praise Him! Amen!

Making disciples

“We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Jesus said, it is better to fall upon the rock and be broken than to have the rock fall on you and be crushed (Matt 21:44). The rock is the word of God and Jesus is the cornerstone. If we humbly come to Him in repentance and are broken we will save ourselves from judgement day when the rock falls on unbelievers and crushes them. Paul talks about us dealing with our fleshly ways in the scripture above. There are times when I sense pride in my heart, I quickly ask for the Holy Spirit’s help to humble myself as I know what awaits pride, destruction. The greatest gift we can give to another is the message of salvation, and the greatest gift thereafter is to disciple them, teaching them God’s ways.  Jesus said to the disciples, “Go into all the world and make disciples of all nations ….teach these disciples to obey all...

Others over pride

“We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬ We each have proud thoughts, these thoughts must tow the line to the head, which is Christ. Pride so easily comes in when we start to succeed in an endeavour. A strut enters our swagger. However, more importantly, dirt enters our spirit, we pollute our fountain. To maintain purity in our fountain we must deal with proud thoughts and attitudes. Pulling down strongholds, is pulling down high thoughts about ourselves and low thoughts about others. Pride hurts others, it does this as self climbs on the backs of others. Other people are made in the image of God and need protecting. Dealing with pride in ourselves protects them. Seeking God for others and treating them as He would treat them is important. Amen!

Advice

“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalms‬ ‭32‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Today was church. I had prayed for some Americans, they came, three of them. One woman and two men. One man preached. I spoke to the woman in length and exchanged phone numbers. I have been invited to a bible study group on Thursday. The Americans did not show an interest in lunching with us, so we went alone. I shared my vision for translation with all and the men did not seem interested. I also shared the vision with a pastor at the church and he was very interested.  I make a point of sharing ideas looking for what the Lord might be saying. Before I went to church I had a young Nepali zealot try to extract $1,000 from me for gifts to his home village. I said “No!” I know what my money will be spent on, what God orders. I did not get them impression is was a God-order. This is the biggest problem westerners have in Nepal. We are seen as the bank, ...

Best path

“The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” Psalms‬ ‭32‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ The Lord is the best guide, we may think we have it nailed, but we don’t. So often I think, “now I have it, now I feel good, I’ve worked it out “ and along comes God and pulls out the rug. He does not want a walk of self for me, He wants a walk entwined with Him and His leading. My latest belief is that I should arrange a translation of biblical teaching for the Nepali pastors. However, I must lay that down if that is not what they need. Today I go to church and I will ask the pastors there for an opinion. Am I on the right path? Or is Thai another of my clever rhoughts which are just that? I so need to have a task, a project I can identify with that is mine from God. I do not like to wander aimlessly. I have been waiting and seeking God for this task, however, I must lay it down if it is wrong as it will result in death and heartache, and probably a sw...
