The Proper Time

So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9 HCSB Giving up is the wide road. Yielding to what tempts us to stray is the chickens way out. You know where chickens end up, under the chop. Today our countries are plagued with an outpouring of evil. If it is not one group shouting for 'rights' it is another wanting to steal our freedom. Christ alone is our source and supply of freedom. Amen! In the midst of all this we see evil tyrants plotting destruction. Our world is fast coming to it's end, so don't give up now, eternity is fast approaching. The Lord is returning for His bride. One who has washed her garments in His blood. He alone makes us pure. He alone gives us life. Nothing, apart from Him brings life. Seek life, eternal life. Seek Him!

The Timing

There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1 HCSB Knowing the right timing can be challenging. Being out of time can be frustrating. King David was anointed to be king at a young age but there was a time period. After he defeated Goliath he was given the King's daughter in marriage. He may well have thought he was on his way, until...the women started singing about Him being greater than king Saul, then jealousy entered Saul's heart and he was determined to kill David. Then David became a man on the run for years and years. We know David's anguish through the Psalms. Just when all was lost, David became king. Yet kingship had its problems, David's son Absalom decided he wanted the throne and again David was on the run. He had to wait for God to restore him, and He did. As we read David's life, a man loved by God had a terrible time. When we consider the Son of God, He also had a terrible time, and He was t...

He Goes Before Me

The Lord is the One who will go before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 HCSB These words were spoken by the 120 year old Moses to the nation of Israel as they were about to cross the flooded Jordan led by Joshua. Moses had been with the people for 80 years and was staying behind to die. God had told him he was not passing over into the promised land. Moses had submitted to God's decree and watched from the mountain. The age of the people passing over the river was no greater than the 40's except for Joshua and Caleb who were both in their 80s. The previous generations had died in the wilderness because of their faithlessness 40 years prior, when they had their opportunity to pass over the river and failed because of unbelief. Today these words ring true. It is God who goes before me. He makes the way plain for me to follow. I can trust Him. He loves me and has a plan for me, a hope amd a f...

He is There, in All

Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any kind of affliction, through the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3‭-‬4 HCSB Our experiences give us compassion, at least they should do. As we suffer and our God comforts us we can go on to comfort others. The words: 'in all our afflictions' is comforting in itself. It is not just some of our afflictions, it is all. I know when others share with me how God has been with them through their trials, I am comforted and assured, 'God will be with me!' I suppose this is why having a testimony is also important. Being willing to share your experience through a trial makes you believable and not just a machine. This is particularly true about preachers. You need to do more than expound the scriptures, you need to live them and show them in your lives. Bein...

The Greatest is......

Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 HCSB How did Paul know that love was greater? Here was a single man who had no intimate experience, an apostle who spends a lot of time on the road and whose teaching was straight as a pole. Yet, as you read Paul's epistles you cannot argue, this man must know the One of whom he speaks and has an intimate relationship with Him. The love Paul does indeed speak of is the love of God. The love of man is fickle and dependent on how others treat it. But the love of God is constant and does not withdraw. We see so many murders and a lot of domestic violence. Why? Where has the love gone? It has been replaced by hate. Hate makes us do things we will later regret. Hate divides families and friends. Yet God's love never fails. Last night I played Miss Marple in a Murder Mystery Party I wrote. It was a great success. No-one guessed the murderer. The red herrings were successful ...

Love is Greater

Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13 HCSB I don't know about you, but there are times I wish this verse did not exist. Why? You might well ask! Think about it in your own life. Are you a person of faith? Then faith is important to you; are you a person of hope? Then hope fills your soul. Myself, I know the love of God and am called many times to display it. Yet at certain times, and with certain people it is hard. If we examine the full chapter 13, we discover: love believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails. For us, personally, there are those who offend us and tempt us to defy these scriptures. I've got one right now. I have a friend who is making life difficult for me. However, this person is displaying issues that need resolving. What is causing him to behave this way? There are always reasons why people do what they do. Their behaviour can make us walk away or try and ...

I Knock

Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and have dinner with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3:20 HCSB This scripture is often used for the unsaved, psintings have been done of it as it is very famous, but it is taken from the letter to the church at Laodecia. The beginning is not pretty. Lets look at it: “Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea: “The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Originator of God’s creation says: I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I’m rich; I have become wealthy and need nothing,’ and you don’t know that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire so that you may be rich, white clothes so that you may be dressed and your shameful nakedness not be expo...

What is Freedom?

For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love. Galatians 5:13 HCSB He who the Son sets free, is free indeed. Freedom from sin is the first part, as we accept Jesus as Saviour but another freedom comes as we allow our Saviour to be Lord over all. How do we do this? Be yielding our attitudes and allowing His Holy Spirit in. As I yield, He untied the knots. The knots are a result of sin, abuse or upbringing. I had my share of knots because of my father and his knots. However, Jesus set me free. I invited His Holy Spirit in. As His Holy Spirit came in He untied all the knots. During the times of greatest emotional pain I clung to Him and asked for more, His prize, His rewards. There would be a storm raging about but He would prevail. As our God is free, and all about Him is free then inviting Him to be Lord, invites freedom to come. I am not chained to anything, unless I choose it. Why choo...

Eternal beings

for the training of the body has a limited benefit, but godliness is beneficial in every way, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. 1 Timothy 4:8 HCSB Amazingly, last night in Connect Group this was discussed. Beth Moore states we are the first generation governed by the media. We are constantly bombarded with image and advice on how we should eat and exercise. There are two extremes but in the middle is rest in God and what He wants for our lives. There were those of us who liked and did physical exercise and those who didn't. There were the extremes on both sides but only God is in the middle and He has a plan. I have been down the extreme exercise route and injured myself. We see many professional sportsmen and women injure themselves amd require new joints at younger and younger ages. My physio told me "walking is good!" I now know this to be true and enjoy walking. Initially I struggled and felt robbed bit now am content as ...

I Am More Than

height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord! Romans 8:39 HCSB There are many created things: man, what man creates, forces of nature, disease, injury and more. Yet in all these things we are loved. As children, most of us would say that our parents showed us love by what they did for us and gave for us. Do we consider their discipline love? I made a point of telling my children they were disciplined for what they did instead of who they were. This is how God is with us. However it would be wrong to attribute illness to Him as this is in the world because we have an ever present enemy who hates us. When my daughter was little she suffered many physical challenges and as her mum I wanted to take them away for her but was unable. However, I walked with her, agonized with her, encouraged her throughout it all. I was not the cause of her pain, neither was God. She has the same enemy I have. Pau...

Strong, Courageous and Focused

Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 HCSB In this very first chapter of Joshua, we see God speaking to Joshua about his role in God's plan for the people of Israel. Joshua is receiving instruction and direction. He is not being given a road map but a heart map. If you read the whole chapter you see God tell him to stay on the path, not veering to the right or left, to follow what Moses had commanded him. Today the message is the same: stay on the path and stay the distance. Many are the entrapments and enticements to veer off the path, but stay on track. Jesus actually called it: abiding in the vine, in John 15. How can I wander if I abide in Him? Be careful not to be caught up in the fight of various causes, they affect your attitude, stay clean! Over the weekend I noticed this in myself. I have been engaged in responding to articles on same-sex marriage, the dilem...

God's Wisdom

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up success for the upright; He is a shield for those who live with integrity so that He may guard the paths of justice and protect the way of His loyal followers. Proverbs 2:6‭-‬8 HCSB Last night I went to a birthday party at a lovely restaurant with a whole lot of people from church. Invited was a young couple who happened to sit next to me. The man talked freely and had a lot of opinions. We discussed politics and the state of our nation at present. His wife was a quiet woman and I struggled to hear her. When I came home I realised I could have heard the woman at a deeper level, had I had my ears on. At times I can be so talkative and intent on presenting my opinions that I miss opportunities. When I reflected I realised my lack and self- centered approach to the night. Wisdom in hindsight is better than none at all but present wisdom is better. With the Lord is gracious wisdom. He is good ...

All of Him

For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross — whether things on earth or things in heaven. Colossians 1:19‭-‬20 HCSB If we want to know God, read the gospels and see Jesus. All of God was in Jesus. In our current fight against a move away from our Christian heritage we see a rejection of religion but not of Christ. Christ is packaged with the deal because He is supposed to be what Christianity is about. If main stream media want to present the church, they go to big old buildings and shun the lively Pentecostal churches. I love the big old churches, but if they are hurting people then they fail. Even in Pentecost religious, bullying people can reside and this trashes the truth of the above scripture. All of God was in Christ! What a claim! What a reality! Jesus was whole and real. He raised the dead, healed the sick and forgave the sinner. Perhaps the world wants mo...

Be An Exanple

Do what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9 HCSB What an example! Jesus is first to say: " Do what you see me do!" He began the process of training for the New Testament. We live in the New Dispensation: God's love is poured out! What then will we do, what will we say? Jesus told us we are the light upon a hill. You only need light when it is dark. The moonless night is darker still. When there is no light at all in the world, that is when we must shine brighter still. Right now, would be a good time to shine. We must join David with the Psalm: ' Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight Oh God!' Being prophets of doom and gloom are not acceptable. Even blind Freddy would be able to say:"The world is in a mess!" Yes it is BUT GOD! We are the people of vision, we are God's people. Let us seek Him and see into the Spirit. What i...

Gentle Wisdom

Who is wise and has understanding among you? He should show his works by good conduct with wisdom’s gentleness. James 3:13 HCSB There are a lot of opinions given today. People are very quick to criticise, especially those in power. Yet we dislike those who pull down. Even in Christianity we have our critics. Yet, if we judge them by the above scripture, they are unwise. The American president is one of the most vilified men I know. Even in church there are jokes about him. Perhaps there should be prayers offered on his behalf. The advantage the Christian has is a connection to God. When people annoy us we are prone to criticise and react. Yet God would have us be gentle. My natural inclination is not gentleness but I am trying to yield my reactions to God and wait for His answer before I speak or act. Gentleness is coming. It is a small bud on the stem but patience will see it flower. Amen!

Your Will Lord!

Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God. May Your gracious Spirit lead me on level ground. Psalms 143:10 HCSB These verses are verses from Davidic Psalm. David is being pursued by His enemies and David is calling out to God for His help. As I awoke this morning I heard the Lord's Prayer and intercession for my land Australia. 'Forgive us our sins Lord for we have turned each to his own way. Wash us clean of our filth and forgive us our sins. Lead us not into evil. Have mercy Lord! A storm is coming across the valley. As the natural rains come I am praying for Spiritual rains to come and cleanse our land of all unrighteousness and it starts with the church. Forgive Us for our negligence Lord! We have had a task to perform and we have failed as Your watchmen. Forgive Us our sins! As people of this land we have failed and allowed filth to come upon our land. Forgive us! Bring Your revival to Your church and may it flow out to our land. May righteousness flow out, go...

He Completes Me

I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 HCSB I remember a chorus with this verse in it and the phrase: ' will be faithful to complete it,' was used instead of the above: 'carry it to completion.' The word 'faithful makes it more personal. That God would be faithful to me overwhelms me. Why would God be faithful to me? At 19, when I invited Christ into my heart, little did I know that up through time, at 63, I am more complete than then. I could use the word, whole. When we come to Christ we are fragmented and barely hanging together. Now I have been remade and there may be a few spots still not complete but He makes me new, every morning. I am being restored to the image He has of me, faithfully. I may be fickle with my affections, but He is not. The disappointment of others affects me. He stays faithful when I am fickle. He understands my humanity. Thank You Lord...

All Things!

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 HCSB Trust is required when the 'all things' are bad things. In our own minds we cannot see how good can come from them-but it can. In the taking of new territory there is always a fight. I was determined to rest over the weekend but yesterday a stream of anxiety came my way through others. They were being anxious and wanted my peace. I am not the giver of peace but know the One who is. It is He who must be in charge. Amen! There are times we must protect our peace and say 'No!' To others. He must be God. He must rule! Amen! I knew why I must preserve my peace. God wanted me to pray about the political melee in Australia. He has a solution. I needed to pray it into being. Last night I heard a good word from the book of Ruth. Although my 'now' may not look much, God has a plan for my good. He works all things out for good...

A Powerful High Priest

Therefore, He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25 HCSB This whole chapter is about priesthood and how Jesus was and is the perfect high priest. I grew up in the Catholic faith and experienced many priests but none were able to cleanse me of my sin, no matter how good they were. Yet when I had a personal meeting with Jesus, He washed away all my sin. There is nothing too hard for Him. He loves the unlovely and interceedes for us. This requires some level of love we do not understand. Not only did this Jesus give His life for our sins, He sits at the right hand of God, interceeding for us: ' just one more day Father, give me one more day to minister to them, pour out Your Holy Spirit on them Father, just one more day.' Last night I saw a post go out, written by a prophet, calling people to pray for Kim in North Korea. God's heart for this young man is that he is saved from His sins. The re...

I Wait For You!

I wait for Yahweh; I wait and put my hope in His word. Psalms 130:5 HCSB The image that was associated with this word was rocks partially submerged in peaceful water. It fits! God is our peace! As I wait on Him He restores parts of me that I never knew were damaged and He continually makes me whole. Wholler than whole. I must lay down frustration at the pace and rejoice in the process. Last night I attended a women's conference and it shows me how I was going. My vision for Tamworth was what was happening but I used to be the one out front, not now but it is finally ok. The woman who took over my role as pastor was in attendance and that was good too. Praise God! He makes all things new. Amen! I am now content with my new role, well... more content. When I was pastoring I wanted to be out in the community seeking and saving lost people instead of running around after saved folk. Last night one of the women pastors came to me and asked me to care for a new lady. I did! I enj...

What a Promise

We have redemption in Him through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace Ephesians 1:7 HCSB I am hearing an old song:' I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, I am redeemed and I know I am, I am redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, saved from sin and I know I am, all my sins are washed away praise the Lord!' Yes it is old but a good confession. There are many more verses lining up in my memory but they can stay there or we will be here all day. There is another more modern one: 'Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.' We are probably saying a lot of things right now as our countries are immersed in turmoil, hordes of demons have been let loose on the earth: unclean spirits; hateful spirits; murderous spirits; thieving spirits. It is as if we are in hell, or not far from its door. Yet for the Christian, the one who believes in their Lord's authority over all, there is a must confession, we must make: the truth of the word...

Life is Offered

A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance. John 10:10 HCSB We have an enemy and his hatred is filling the hearts of men and women today over petty issues. I see this hatred in social media. I follow the ABC and SBS news on Facebook. When challenging things are happening, as they are now around same sex marriage, the comments are disgusting. We cannot allow ourselves to be fuelled by hate. Satan is stealing friendship, love and compassion and replacing it with vile threats, arguments and hateful comments. A blind people do not see the manipulation that goes on but it is there. How can our country become so filled with hatred? As people turn from God they are empty and empty vessels make the most sound. Jesus gives life as an alternative. He had the haters as well. The haters took Him to the cross. The same hate that crucified Christ is slaughtering innocent children, slaying human beings all for it...

He is Coming

On that day Yahweh will become King over all the earth — Yahweh alone, and His name alone. Zechariah 14:9 HCSB Chapter 14 of Zechariah is a prophetic chapter which speaks to end times. Nations will war against Israel and actually plunder the city of Jerusalem, but God shows up. Then He sets up His kingdom on earth and rules from Jerusalem. Any who do not pay homage to Him are cursed and experience no rain. This day is fast approaching. As the world teeters on destruction and there are rumors of war, sin is rampant and persecution of God's people is rife. There is a war in the spirit against God's saints and His purposes. The enemy knows his time is short. He is marching to his destiny- the lake of fire. God has the last word. As proud nations rise up and spew forth their venemon God will not be silenced. The very God they deny opposes them and stands against them. Just when the West thinks God is dead He will appear. He will rule and reign. Amen!

He Became Sin For Us

He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 HCSB I know a lot of people who do not know this. I mix with them and look for opportunity to bring them to Him that they might know them. The love of God compels me. I sense His heart in all this and as I know Him and His beauty I am compelled to love others. Verse 16 says: ' From now on we do not know anyone in a purely human way.' I do not know Christ in purely human way. He is Saviour and Lord.He is lover and friend. How much does the Father love us that He gave His Son for us. Jesus was the willing sacrifice. We see this story in type played out with Abraham and Isaac. God told Abraham to take his son and go and make a sacrifice. Abraham knew God had told him to sacrifice his son but trusted God. Isaac submitted trusting God. Their faith was rewarded and Issac lived. In the natural we would now lock them up as insane. Yet Abraham became ...

All Things Are Possible

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26 HCSB The above scripture comes as Jesus and the disciples are discussing rich people entering the kingdom of God. The disciples had said to Jesus, "Then who can be saved?" In response to Jesus saying, " it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of the needle than for a wealthy person to enter heaven." The disciples were shocked. Why? Had they come from wealthy families? Jesus was cared for by wealthy women. They knew Jesus was best friends with Lazarus amd His sisters who were also wealthy. Who then could be saved indeed! The crux is: 'with God all things are possible.' In ourselves we are prone to the flesh and fail at many things, but with God, anything is possible. The criteria for this varies with each and every one. There is a story of a rich young ruler who came to Jesus and said he wished to follow Jesus, in verse 14 of th...

No Shame

But if anyone suffers as a “Christian,” he should not be ashamed but should glorify God in having that name. 1 Peter 4:16 HCSB Suffering as a Christian would be happening more and more now. The gloves are off. The enemy has rallied his troops behind the feel good crowd - the sexual revolution. For a Christian to disagree or oppose the same.sex movement there is hell to pay. Even in my country, Australia. In South Australia, in a small community called Marion, the local council is asking for opposition by flying the rainbow flag and if the Christians oppose, no funding for youth projects. (It reminds me of the queen in Alice in Wonderland- 'off.with their heads') However, as Christians we can ask for trouble by having opinions. In Tasmania a local minister is being persecuted for blogs from as far back as 2011. Oh dear! Exception has been taken against the gospel and the bible, as it dares to speak to behaviour and sin. No longer does society tolerate preaching about sin....

He Protects Me

In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Psalms 56:4 HCSB Lately I have ramped up my prayer for souls and my nation. I seek God's deliverance from the onslaught of evil spirits sent against the church. Uncleanness is poured out on the earth. I am not content to say:"oh well prophesy says this is what will happen!" Yes it does but I also know my country has not yet seen the outpouring of the Spirit prophesied over it. So, I will pray. As I step into the fray enemies come seeking to take me out. One such enemy resides in a brother of mine. The Lord allows me to hear in the Spirit when He thinks I need to. Two nights ago was one such occasion. I sensed this spirit active against me. It is hateful and the Lord gave it a name, misogyny. I didn't know what it meant and so looked it up. It hates women. I bet it is a destroyer like it's father the devil. However, my God is my protector. Amen! David knew about enemies, ...

He Will Not Cast Me Off

“I am the bread of life,” Jesus told them. “No one who comes to Me will ever be hungry, and no one who believes in Me will ever be thirsty again. But as I told you, you’ve seen Me, and yet you do not believe. Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of Him who sent Me: that I should lose none of those He has given Me but should raise them up on the last day. For this is the will of My Father: that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:35‭-‬40 HCSB Jesus was being hounded by part of the crowd that followed Him and whom He fed. Yet they are demanding more signs. Here Jesus plainly speaks and says: " I am the bread of life!" They did not receive this well and Jesus knows why, their hearts were hard and not open. They had not received th...

Who Separates Us From God?

Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Romans 8:35 HCSB Nothing that happens to us can separate us from the love of God. The only thing that separates us is willfully walking away into deception. The West is marching towards hell and adopting godless theologies; opening doors to vile unclean spirits and seeking self-fulfullment. Christians wake up! Get on your knees, forsake your movies, games and TV shows. Repent and seek God for your nations or all will be lost. In Australia we have an education system in one state that has been teaching 13 year olds to masturbate; create vaginas and accept that there are 64 different sexual orientations. We have seen a sudden burst of the unclean into all our societies and it will get worse. Christians are being persecuted because they disagree. Freedom of speech is going for the godly. Have mercy Lord! Forgive us our laziness or self-indulgence and ea...

Are You Here?

Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Romans 8:35 HCSB Things that we go through cannot separate us from the love of God. Yes we might feel all alone, but we are feeling our circumstances, not God. Circumstances can leave us shredded, raw, pulverized but not alone. Jesus was the only One to be left totally alone, on the cross as He bore our sins. This was the only time God turned from Him. You might think God had turned from you because of you sin- wrong. You have had that penalty taken for you, Jesus has already paid that price. You are trying to pay for a debt that has already been paid for. Sin, once confessed and repented of is gone. You are free to walk in Christ ad a new man or woman. Totally free! Loved, cherished and forgiven! Remember, the stuff we go through cannot separate us from God's love. Turn to Him, ask Him in! Amen!

I will Sing!

Give thanks to Yahweh, call on His name; proclaim His deeds among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell about all His wonderful works! Honor His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek Yahweh rejoice. Search for the Lord and for His strength; seek His face always. Psalms 105:1‭-‬4 HCSB The Jewish race were brilliant at remembering through song and story telling. In this Psalm thry are called to remember the deeds of their God. There are certain things we should forget but when it comes to our God and His workings in our lives, it is good to remember. How has He kept you? How has He grown You? How has He brought you through many trials and difficulties. At times of hardship it is good to sing about your God and His goodness. ' I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever, I will sing, I will sing.' When there is nothing else to rejoice in, rejoice in Him! This beats grumbling and complaining and bring life to your soul! Start singing! Let the praise ...

Watchmen Pray!

“Stop your fighting — and know that I am God, exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.” Psalms 46:10 HCSB Why do we fight? Either we are offended, greedy for unjust gain or out for revenge. When I look at all the wars going on now, couple these with a complete disregard for the lives of children, elderly and pregnant women, this is what we are already seeing on the earth. Throughout history we have seen God use various nations to do His will, however He has not caused their avarice and greed. Even evil men are used by God for His purposes. As a Christian I am compelled to pray. The prayers of the watchmen are heard. We do not need to stand by helplessly wringing our hands. We need to pray and see God move. Amen! We cannot trust man but we can trust God!
